Dog's are like clocks, they like being in a "routine" and having a "job". So this is when you need to work on your schedule with them and getting them to be in your "routine" and you giving them a "job" to do. If you give them the "job" and "routine" while your at home, than their Separation is likely to slow down and get use to the schedule that you have changed or that they are adjusting to.
When your adopting a Husky, they already were in a "routine", so when you bring them home, your going to expect them to react positive or negative to the "routine" change and therefore need to coach them into doing so in a positive way. |
